Lottie animations have been around for a while, but they recently released a new format, even more compressed, called dotLottie.
Lottie is used for compressed and optimised web animations to make them run smoothly. And Webflow now supports this brand new format from Lottie Files.

This means when you, in your Adobe after effects, are finished with your animation. Then you can export it to dotLottie format by using the plugin provided by Lottie files.
Webflow has been supporting the JSON files up until now, but dotLottie files are up to 95% smaller than when you export as JSON files. This is a huge difference.
